Shi Hawthorne, MBA is the Managing Partner at Business Flipper, a private capital firm that invests in the equity and debt securities of privately held companies. Alongside her associates, Shi partners with CEOs, executives, and business owners who need private capital to fix, grow, or sell their company. 

Armed with her 10+ years of experience as a boots-on-the-ground entrepreneur and marketing executive for nonprofits and local municipalities, Shi ascertains that cash flow is king. By utilizing a combination of private equity and private debt Shi helps business owners keep their business afloat, grow their business to new heights, and is the first potential buyer in line when they are ready to sell. 

Shi received her Master of Business Administration degree at the University of St. Mary.

When she is not busy navigating the world of private capital, Shi spends her time making others laugh, reading, exercising, or coaching entrepreneurs.
